This policy explains what personal data Soqueta Experiences collects, why, and how you can control it. We keep it short because we only collect what we actually need to reply to you and run your booking, nothing more.
Who we are
Soqueta Experiences is a cooking-class business run by Paula Mas Boned in Sant Jordi, Mallorca, Spain. For data protection purposes, Paula Mas Boned (trading as Soqueta Experiences) is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. What data we collect
We only collect personal data when you give it to us directly. Contact form: your name, email address, and message. Booking: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of the experience you book. WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy, not by us. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of our visitors.
Why we use it
We use this data only to reply to your enquiry, confirm your booking, and deliver the experience you have requested. This is necessary to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into one. For general enquiries where no booking follows, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Who we share it with
SimplyBook.it processes your booking details to manage our calendar and confirm reservations. Web3Forms delivers messages submitted through our contact form to Paula's inbox. Vercel hosts this website and, through Vercel Speed Insights, measures anonymized page-loading performance; Speed Insights does not use cookies and does not identify you individually. Elfsight powers the guest-reviews widget on this site, pulling in reviews from Google, TripAdvisor, and Airbnb. Cloudinary hosts the images on this site and does not process personal data about you. We do not sell your data, and we never share it for advertising.
Google Maps
Our Contact page offers the option to view our location on Google Maps. The map is not loaded automatically, it only loads after you click "Show map", at which point Google may set its own cookies and process data under its own privacy policy. If you'd rather not load it, our address is at the top of this page, and you're welcome to open it directly in Google Maps or Apple Maps yourself.
International transfers
Some of the providers above, particularly Google and Vercel, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers publish, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to keep your data protected.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form and booking messages only for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to keep a record for accounting and legal purposes under Spanish tax law. After that, we delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it's inaccurate, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email paula@soquetaexperiences.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
Children
This website and our experiences are intended for adults booking on behalf of themselves and their group. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool on the site. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
