Authentic Cooking Classes

IN MALLORCA

(01.)

It starts at the market

Rather than starting in the kitchen, your experience begins at Mercado Olivar in central Palma — shopping like a local and understanding Mallorcan cooking from its very first step.

(02.)

You take part, not just watch

This is not a passive tour. You'll select ingredients, talk with local vendors, then cook what you've chosen — living the full journey from market to table.

(03.)

Small and personal

Classes stay small and intimate, giving you the time and space to ask questions, learn real techniques, and cook alongside Paula in a relaxed, unhurried setting.

(04.)

Real Mallorcan food, not tourist recipes

Instead of dishes made for visitors, you'll learn authentic Mallorcan recipes and traditional methods rooted in everyday island cooking and passed down through Paula's own family.

(05.)

More than a recipe

By the end of the experience, you won't just have cooked a Mallorcan meal. You'll take home a deeper understanding of the island's food culture, ingredients, and traditions.

Paula is extraordinary — her passion for Mallorcan food is contagious. We cooked sobrasada, tumbet, and the best almond ice cream I've ever tasted.

Common questions

How long does a cooking class in Mallorca last?
The Traditional Cooking Class lasts 3–4 hours. The Market Tour & Cooking Class is a full 5–6 hours, including the market visit.
Do I need cooking experience?
None at all. Paula adapts every class to the group — whether you've never cooked before or do it every day. The focus is on enjoying the process, not performing.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Paula adapts the menu to vegetarian, gluten-free, and most other dietary needs. Let her know when you book.
